Position Summary
The main objective of the Career Advisor and Content Lead role is to enhance the career readiness of Lundquist undergraduate and graduate students through career advising and content creation. The advisor will meet with students individually and in groups to help them understand their options in their job or internship search. They will provide career guidance, assist students in identifying their strengths and interests, and help them develop strategies for their internship and job search.
In addition to individual advising, the career advisor will manage the content on Mohr's student-facing website and be the point person for executing the student-facing communications plan. They will also organize career-related events and programs and serve as the instructor for internship credits.
This position reports to the Associate Director for Career Strategy and will work closely with the Office of Advising and Student Experience, Office of Employer & Alumni Engagement, Lundquist staff and faculty, and student clubs. The role may also require occasional work in the evenings and weekends.
