Instructional Developer, Gary W. Rollins College of Business–Requisition # 18000001QE

This position provides pedagogical support and learning technology support to faculty in the Gary W. Rollins College of Business. Responsibilities include:

Provides assistance to faculty through consultations for pedagogy and learning technology. This includes addressing walk-ins, calls, call center tickets, and scheduled appointments.

Assists faculty with course design of all modalities, guided by the university's adopted rubric and best practices in teaching and learning all in an effort to promote student learning and engagement as it related to the university's mission.

Designs, implements, and assesses faculty development programs such as seminars, workshops, and cohorts. Stays current and increases knowledge and skills in evidence-based teaching and learning and faculty and organizational development by participating in professional development activities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Minimum one year of experience in faculty development programs involving design, delivery, and assessment of programs is required. Knowledge of the theories, models, and best practices of teaching and learning in higher education is required. Knowledge of innovative pedagogy of all modalities is required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form; strong interpersonal and organizational skills; strong project management and problem solving skills. Working knowledge of at least one learning management system and a variety of software applications used in higher education is required. Must have ability to be self-directed and open to feedback from others. Experience in a Teaching and Learning unit preferred.
